Beloved GCF families, loving greetings in Jesus name. One of the major problem that the families and nation face today is lack of finance Projects are postponed or cancelled, workers are retrenched, porissnees is slow and etc. Is it God’s desire for us? God’s will is to bless us. His desire is that we eat well, sleep well, dress well… but when we have eaten full, satisfied and have multiplied, DO NOT FORGET WHO BLESSED US. King Nebuchadnezzer said “Is not this the great Babylon I have built… and my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty” (Dan 4:30). The words were still on his lips when a voice came from heaven and told him that he would live with the wild animals and eat grass… UNTIL he acknowledge that the High is Sovereign over the kingdom of men (Dan 4:28-32).Joab said “choose between God and Mammon” You cannot serve both. Who we choose is our master, we will spend the rest of our life serving. The ungodly gain wealth no matter how.
They crave (lust) for more wealth and are never satisfied. God’s word says… “many have erred from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows…
If we obey God’s word He will prosper.
There are two ways to gain wealth:
a. GOD’S WAY – without sorrow and our children will inherit God’s blessing
OR
b. MAN’S WAY – with much sorrow multiplied.
The wealth of the earth is for the righteous. God gives us the power to gain wealth. He loves to give.
We must learn to give. He wants us to be the head (not the tail), lender (not borrower) and giver (not receiver). Many will call us blessed and this brings honor to the Lord.

The three basic factors to Financial Freedom are:
i. Giving ii. Receiving iii. Managing
GIVING
Financial blessing begins with Scriptural giving. Giving activates the work of God in our financial affairs.
“GIVE AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN TO YOU” – Luke 6:38
Giving must begin with tithes and offering to God. No Christian can afford to neglect tithing or giving (1 Cor 16:2). If we give to God and His work, He will… open the gates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that we will not have room enough (Mal 3:10)
By giving we invest treasures in heaven
“But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and dust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal (Math 6:20).
Giving increases our love for God
because “For where your treasure is there your heart will be also” (Math 6:21)
Giving to God our tithes and offerings
“Bring the whole tithe into the store house, that there may be food in my house” (Mal 3:10)
Giving to the poor the necessities of life
“He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward him for what he has done” (Prov 19:17).
Givin to Christians
“Share with God’s people who are in need.” Practice hospitality. (Rom 12:13).
In next issue, I will write about ‘RECEIVING’. Let our giving activate a blessing.
Receive your financial blessing by giving.
Be blessed.
By Him, For Him
