This ministry was named after the name of the mighty young man in the bible called “Gideon”. Youths Ministry was established in early 90’s and several ministers were leading the ministry and after reformation, the ministry was renamed as Gideons: Youths Ministry and lead by Bro.Vicky Sigamany and co-assisted by Bro. Anba as the president to date.
OUR MISSION
“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth…” – Ecclesiastes 12:1
The objective of our Gideons: Youths Ministry is to raise a young generation that is revived for the Lord and filled with Godly wisdom by meditating the Word of GOD and to raise young peoples who are willing to serve the Lord in the ministry by their strength and talents.
The Importance of Youth Ministry:
To prepare youth for a lifelong walk with Christ.
To help youth become aware of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, to respond to Christ in a personal commitment of faith, and to follow God’s will in the full meaning of church membership and Christian discipleship.
To guide youth to witness about their personal faith in Jesus Christ and to invite others to respond to Him.
To guide youth to participate in Christian missions and help them develop the skills these ministries require.
To help youth increase their knowledge and understanding of Bible truths and to apply these truths in every area and relationship of life.
