Zechariah Vasudevan was a man who disliked the Christian faith. As the hatred towards Christian faith began to grow, he had the urge to buy a bible to just to merely find faults in the bible and to criticize the faith. Even after buying and reading the bible, yet he failed to find any faults. Things did not go according to his plan, but it certainly did according to God’s plan. On a significant day, as Vasudevan woke up, he heard a voice urging him to go to a church nearby. He didn’t know that it was the voice of God, until he was delivered from several demons as the pastor of the church laid hands on him and prayed for his deliverance.

From that point of time, God called him by the name of Zechariah and his Christian journey begun. Soon, realizing the call for ministry in his life, Zechariah Vasudevan became a pastor.

In 1984, as Rev. Zechariah Vasudevan was praying. God placed a burden in his heart for the lost souls and to work for the Kingdom of God.

Four years later, as he was passing by the Bukit Kemuning road (the road to Taman Sri Muda), he saw a vision where the whole area of Shah Alam was covered with light and a voice followed saying, “Who is going to do My ministry here?”

As Zechariah understood the will of God in his life, he left his home, Banting and moved to Taman Sri Muda, Shah Alam and began his ministry as a cell group. As time passed by, in the year 1991 Grace Charismatic Fellowship Ministries was born.

Rev. Zechariah is blessed in life with a lovely wife and a son, Samuel Prakash.
